These Channapatna craft serving handis with a tray are a homeowner's dream. Contemporary designs work best when they envelope tradition and modern design. And this set is a true testament to both. The handis are carved using a lathe machine and are dyed using natural pigments for the lacquered little birds. They make for perfect serving pots for after-dinner mukhvaas or some pickle. The set is food safe, water proof and washable.

Designed to stun anyone with an appetite for art, this cutlery holder is the kind of 'detail' that makes a meal stand out. We've crafted the piece in a playful palette with light and dark wood and a touch of Channapatna birds. Channapatna, a traditional craft that hails from Karnataka, uses vegetable dyes to colour its pieces while the wood used is titled Dhoodi Wood (Milkwood) for its milky texture. It lends the piece its quirky, food-safe palette. The piece is washable, long lasting and durable.
